I've created this fundraising page because I want to help our local NHS as they face the busiest winter in their history. The second wave of COVID-19 has hit Southmead harder than the first.

It's only week 2 in my new job, but I can see the staff are stretched, fighting this virus, catching-up on summer waiting lists and juggling absences every single day. Yet they keep smiling, and keep going. Southmead Hospital Charity works to give them as much support as possible through this incredibly difficult year, as well as funding ground-breaking medical research into 'long covid', and innovative equipment for patients.

I will be doing a LOT of walking in December in festive gear, and if you'd like to join me sometime, you'd be very welcome.
