We provide vital care and support to all those affected by a blood cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most of you know that my dear Daddy sadly lost his fight to cancer in July 2011. He had a blood cancer so cruel that his illness declined rapidly.

He was an incredibly keen sports man and always challenged himself to his physical limits, I hope that by taking on this challenge I will be pushing myself as much as he did.

During the time of my training we found out that my sister, who is just 33 has been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. This could not have come as more of a shock to us. As a family we cannot comprehend this and personally, I am struggling with coming to terms with this. Two members of my immediate family have been struck down with the same type of cancer. We are hopeful that the treatment Anouska is having will fully cure her.

I am not a runner- I have never claimed to be, but this challenge is something that I know I have to complete. The charity is a great cause and through your donations I hope to help another family not to lose someone so special.

In the mean time I am more determined than ever to train, fundraise and complete this journey.
