Hi!!! Most people who know me,  know just how much I wave the flag for Noa Girls and what an impact the organisation has had on me. AND only because of how much they have helped and continue to help me have I decided to (as ambitious as It sounds) start to train for the 10 K run which I am going to be doing on the 24thJune!!!! Good luck  to me ;) 

NOA Girls is the only charity run within the Jewish community that supports girls aged 12 - 24 with practical, emotional and therapeutic support. These girls suffer from many complex issues at different severities such as bullying, eating disorders, self esteem, and mental health issues to name a few. 

As many people close to me know i have and continue to recieve help from Noa on a weekly basis and without their input I can honestly say I dread to think where I would be. I have been through many ordeals and traumas, and Noa truly handed me a life line when I was drowning further and further into the stormy seas that became my life. 

Through the years with the help of a fantastic team, my key worker,  and my past and present mentor,  I have been able to work towards believing In myself and believing in a future. When for so long on and off I had thoughts of giving up because of how difficult my life became feeling too over whelmed to see any other colour but continuous black. In the past two years with hard work on both my side and theirs I am able to start re building my life slowly one piece at a time. 

 Despite previous and current struggles Noa have given me the best gift this world has to offer - Time. and a real want to help . Countless hours of care, concern, and dedication in a non judgemental environment. No matter what time of day, Offering me an unlimited listening ear and a space to be nourished and cared for in the most genuine and sincere way. 

Now with unfortunately more struggles that have surfaced, Noa have taken centre stage in ensuring I am safe, cared for and listened to.
