Story

The last month or so has been incredibly difficult. My beautiful partner was unexpectedly taken into hospital following 3 seizures completely out of the blue.

After lots of tests and scans then being transferred to Nottingham queens med for a brain biopsy, we were told he has a brain tumour. The tumour he has is a glioblastoma which is cancerous and we are absolutely devastated.

Our life has been in limbo the last 6 weeks as we wait for answers and the drs to put a plan in place.

We now wait for daily radiotherapy and chemotherapy to start ( next week)

Life can change just like that overnight and we now face a gruelling future of treatment and fighting this awful disease.

Words can't describe how we feel at this point, we are just a normal couple, making plans to get the kitchen renovation started to finally finish our forever home, Then this happens in an instant! Nothing is more important than fighting this disease now and being there for him every step of the way.

My beautiful man has worked so hard over the years and now he faces the toughest fight of his life. We are praying for a miracle

When looking at what research and funding goes into brain tumours I realised that out of all cancers, the brain receives such a low amount of funding which is wrong.

Brain tumours kill more men and boys under 70 than prostate cancer, Yet research into brain tumours remains underfunded, often overlooked, and devastating for the thousands affected each year.

We need to find a cure or more effective and faster diagnosis to treatment and to help do my bit whilst we go through our worst ever summer, I am taking part in the 88 squat challenge to raise funds for the brain tumour research charity.

I am reaching out to ask for a small donation to this charity to help where we can
