Hey All,
I have decided to do a skydive to raise money for my place of work, Abbeyfields Canvey Island Society.

Abbeyfields is a charity based home that allows its residents to live independently, comfortably and within a safe environment. Abbeyfields provides an excellent balance between privacy, support and security from the in house team, whilst allowing the residents to mingle, form friendships but most importantly be as independent as possible.

The aim of my skydive is to raise funds for the residents social fund, like many others living away from family and friends, it has been hard to arrange visits and allow the residents to enjoy any activities during the Pandemic.
The residents resilience and optimism during the past two years has been a great inspiration to myself and all of the team here at Abbeyfields, it was at this point I decided it was time to give something back.
So with the skydive I hope to raise as much money as I can to for their social fund so that they can have things to look forward to once again.

It is also my way of saying thank you too our residents for not only all they have sacrificed but also for all the joy and encouragement they have given over these past two challenging years.

Like many I understand times are hard at the moment, so if you aren’t able to contribute financially, I ask that you share this message with your friends and family to help spread the message.
