I am joining in with the 5 for 5 challenge to raise money for Sands.  This year marks the 5th year since we lost our twin sons to twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.

For Aoife and John it is the 5th year since the loss of their son Seamus too.  It is in his memory that they started this challenge.  In this way they honour the memory of their son and by raising money for Sands and Tommies they help these charities to work on improving maternity care, help prevent stillbirth and help provide bereavement care for families that suffer the horrors of baby loss.

My challenge is around blogging as it has been a way to help work through my grief and to help others feel less alone and encourage parents to share their stories.  It's by sharing these stories we share our memories and in a small way help to fight against the stigma and taboo that silences and harms us all.

By the end of the year I want to have at least 5000 page views.  This will encourage me to keep writing, sharing, supporting and raising awareness of the issues around stillbirth.

To do this I will take part in 5 linkies a week, reading and commenting on at least 5 blogs a day to contribute to the blogging community and encourage others to join the challenge!
