Hi, I'm Shona.  I have Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC) and am in the shielded group during this Coronavirus lockdown.  This means I can't leave my house and garden for at least 12 weeks.  Catching the virus would be really bad for me as NPC means I have issues with swallowing among other things.  

To join in with the 26Challenge I am going to walk 26 miles in my garden over the next six weeks, starting on 26 April, the day the London marathon should have happened.  It'll be good for me to do the exercise to keep myself out of a wheelchair, but it's quite hard for me as my balance and coordination are poor and I wear splints to help keep my feet and ankles aligned.
