Alan is retracing the steps taken alongside Karlene as they participated in the inaugural River Ayr Walk on June 10th, 2006. 

Sadly, Karlene died on September 16th, 2011 after suffering a short illness due to a brain tumour. Alan is now taking on the same journey on his own with a view to raising money for Brain Tumour Research and to keep the memory of Karlene alive.
