Climbing Mt Kinabalu · 23 December 2022

Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.

Story

My name is Annabelle Shotton, and me and my brothers Alex and Marcus and my parents will be climbing Mount Kinabalu - highest mountain in Malaysia and third highest in South East Asia this December.

We are raising money for MSF.

MSF is basically Doctors Without Borders and they will help anyone whether they're outsiders, insiders, anyone, no matter your race, colour, or sex, they won't really mind.  They only want to help save lives of people who need it.

MSF is also transparent, which means that we know how they spend the money that is donated.  They will only spend money on helping people, and not on useless things.

We have chosen to donate to this charity because it is a good charity and can save a lot of lives.

MSF is independent, impartial and neutral.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) offers medical humanitarian assistance to people based solely on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.
