Story
There’s no doubt 2020 has been a challenging year for all of us and one of the most challenging aspects is our mental health.
To help with this a number of us from Showtime Analytics would like to do something to improve our mental and physical health in the next 2 months. Another challenge but a positive one!
Starting from the 30th of October until the 24th of December (Christmas Eve) we will aim to walk/run 5000km together in order to raise funds for Mental Health Ireland.
We appreciate any support you can give and your contribution will make a big impact!
You can follow our progress here https://www.strava.com/clubs/showtime-analytics.
We’re using Strava to stay connected and track all our exercise and we’ll update this page each week with how we’re getting on.
Mental Health Ireland aims to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for all individuals and communities and to support people with lived experience of mental health challenges in their recovery, bringing practical expression to national policy objectives.
Mental Health Ireland was founded in 1966 on the recommendation of the Commission on Mental Illness. Today, they are a leading provider of mental health promotion in the voluntary sector. Mental Health Ireland has been an innovator in the promotion of positive mental health and wellbeing in Ireland for almost half a century.
Remember to stay connected (at a distance) to others let it be family, friends, colleagues or neighbours. We are all in this together!
Thank you for your support!
