A group of staff, parents and friends are taking part in the Devil Mud Run in Cheltenham on 5th March 2016. This is a hilly 8km course with 31 obstacles. We will be running (or walking, for some of us!) through open, rugged countryside and woodlands and there will be plenty of water and mud thrown in!! We are raising money for The Shrubberies PTA, a very worthwhile cause. The Shrubberies school caters for pupils aged 2-19 with severe and profound and multiple learning disabilities. The PTA supports the work of school and provides additional resources and opportunities that would not otherwise be possible to fund. The PTA also runs a summer playscheme, providing much needed respite for our parents whilst at the same time providing fun and stimulating activities for our pupils in familiar surroundings. Some of the money raised from this event will support the funding of playscheme in addition to funding some further outdoor resources.
