I will be swimming 10km open water- this works out at 400 lengths of a standard pool on the 14th Sept.   As a warm up event I will also be completing a 6.5 km sea swim with no wetsuit on the 7th July (depending when Baby no 2 decides to show!!)  I don't like asking for charity but I feel these are more than enough of a challenge to warrant raising money for an amazing charity

In 2011 Finlay Connor was tragicaly knocked down and killed whilst walking to school with his mum. His mum Niki, herself sustained significant and life threatening injuries, has worked tirelessly setting up the charity, with funds going to safety schemes/equipment for schools and groups as well as play equipment for hospitals and hospices. 

The reason why I support this charity is, having treated Niki in hospital and seeing the devasting effect the sudden loss of child has.  The amazing work that has been acheived attemping to improve the safety of children, can help other prevent other families going through this.
