GoKidsGo is a fantastic charity that I came into contact with Mum, George and Harry at a disability exhibition last July. We arrived at the sports zone to meet the GoKidsGo team, see what they did and experience it for ourselves. They taught George some skills and we all got to have a go at wheelchair dancing OMG it is soooo hard! Mum and I were very enthusiastic about the work done by GoKidsGo and spoke at length about getting it into mainstream schools to raise awareness. Unfortunately events overtook our plan and Mum is no longer with us in body but is definitely here in spirit.

In the early summer of this year we arranged for GoKidsGo to do a days workshop at George's school. I was a little concerned as to the reaction, but should never had worried. It was a fantastic opportunity for students and teachers alike to experience a couple of hours in chair, having to learn new skills and to play sport in a different way. Everyone was incredibly enthusiastic and George said he had noticed a difference in the way that some of the students who took part, treated him. The most interesting was the reaction of some of the staff who work with disabled children at the school, they discovered muscles they never knew they had!!

This charity is so important as it raises successfully, awareness. I know that things are hard and for small charities its even harder, so please make small donation, it will be so gratefully recieved. Sian xxx
