EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!

In 2012 , when I was 16 years old, I lost my dad suddenly and shockingly to a brain aneurysm, he was only 51. I will be walking the total 500 miles (he was a proud Glaswegian and he loved The Proclaimers!) over intermitted periods and I aim to complete it before September 30th! All money raised will be going to Headway a charity that provides support and raise awareness for various brain injuries. This will be a monuments challenge as I'm not very active! I will be documenting each of my journeys through blogging, Facebook and even vlogging parts of it. Thank you for your support! Every little helps! x
