Story

Thanks for visiting our page :-) We are wanting to raise money for the BHF as we hope to be able to prevent other families having to suffer as we have by providing money for research.

Our Dad successfully completed the official ride twice and we were signed up to do it this year in memory as a massive challenge for us, it seemed so fitting as he was such a competitive person who gave every challenge his full effort and never backed down. Unfortunately it has been cancelled though and so we have thought of an alternative way to fundraise.

We have worked out the distance from Sedgebrook (where we grew up) to Brighton Beach as 320km. We will pass the start line in London and follow the intended route from there. We will complete the distance over the 10 weeks from April 11th to June 21st which was the intended official ride date.

Sam kindly gave me his exercise bike to train for the ride so unfortunately during lockdown he will not be able to ride it so will walk the distance and I will be riding on the exercise bike.
