As many of you know, Dad & I have Brugada Syndrome, a genetic condition which puts us at risk of fatal heart arrhythmia. Thanks to the amazing work of organisations like BHF & the NHS, we both have our own individual defibrillators implanted, to shock us back to a normal rhythm should our hearts "misbehave"!

You may also be aware, that very sadly, my lovely Mum, Ann Field, was suddenly & completely unexpectedly taken from us in November last year by a massive heart attack. She always thought I was completely barking mad to attempt these charity walks, but at the same time, embarrassingly proud of the amount of money I raised for charity.
