As everyone born in 1987-88 knows, this is a big year - we’re turning 30! A very close friend of ours would also be turning 30 this year, but after losing her battle against Cystic Fibrosis at 18 years old we’ll be remembering and celebrating Sian’s life as we run the Cardiff Bay 10K a couple of weeks after her 30th birthday.
A 10K will feel like a marathon for some of us, while Elinor ‘iron-man’ Morgan is going for a PB. Either way, it’s going to be a challenege so please give generously to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and join us in celebrating the big 30 and remembering a very special person.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.
