Meningitis Research Foundation is a charity driven by a passionate mission to prevent the devastating impact of meningitis. Founded by individuals whose lives were profoundly affected by meningitis, we are dedicated to enabling positive change by uniting people and knowledge to save lives.

Story

September 2012 will see me taking on mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Meningitus Research Foundation.

Meningitus is a disease very close to my heart.  Four years ago my best friend was one of the estimated 3,400 people to contract meningitus in the UK and Ireland every year.  Sadly the disease killed her.

Everyone that knows me will know how my ideal day would be spent slouching on the sofa in front of the TV so this climb will probably be one of the most mentally and physically demanding things I've ever undertaken, but I couldn't think of a better cause to do go through it for. Your donation, big or small, will help Meningitus Research find a cure and stop meningitus from killing once and for all.

So please dig deep and donate now.  Thankyou.
