The RMP CBF was set up in 1944 to maintain esprit de corps of the Royal Military Police and importantly to provide financial and moral help to current and former members of the Corps, and their dependents, who may for the time being be in need of charitable assistance or benefit.

Story

On 20 May 20 it will be the 80th anniversary of the death of Maj Campion who was the only member of the newly formed SIB who died as a result of enemy action whilst part of the British Expeditionary Force in Dunkirk. In order to mark this anniversary members of the SIB Regt RMP are organising a charity event that will incorporate SIB past and present. The main aim of the event is to get as many members of the SIB family active, with a combined effort wherever they are
in the world, with varying activities.

To ensure that this is achievable to SIB worldwide, entrants can be either on an individual basis or as teams of no more than 10 either serving or non-serving SIB members.

Teams will have to achieve 209 miles collectively to signify the distance
from Campion Lines, Bulford to Dunkirk, France.  The individual effort can be either 20.9 miles or 209 minutes of an activity of your choosing in order to incorporate all abilities and locations.

An entry fee of £5 p/p is requested.
