Plan International UK is a fabulous organisation, and I should know, as I am VERY proud to say I work for it!

For 80 years, Plan International UK has been promoting the rights of children, specifically girls, through its work in education, health, child protection, economic security and sanitation.

Our story began in 1937, when we provided support to refugee children fleeing the Spanish Civil War. Today, we're still working around the world, reaching millions of the most vulnerable children every day.

I am particularly passionate about our girls' rights work.

So passionate, in fact, that I decided to run 26 miles and 385 yards. This is the ONLY time in my life I will run a marathon.
