Story
Michael Schofield, the founder of Schofield Insurance Brokers unfortunately passed away from Motor Neurone Disease in 1994
Motor neurone disease (MND) is a condition
that affects the brain and nerves. It causes weakness that gets worse over time.
It’s always fatal and can significantly shorten life expectancy, but some people live with it for many years. There’s no cure, but there are treatments to help reduce the impact it has on daily life.
As a company this is a cause we have been supporting, amongst others over the years
Our SIB Team will be doing the 3 Peaks Challenge Yorkshire to try and raise as much money as possible for the Motor Neurone Disease Association an extremely worthwhile charity. The Motor Neurone Disease Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland that funds and promotes global research into the disease and provides support for people affected by MND.
