We create a special community for families & carers and provide vital respite days.

Story

To everyone who sponsored me so magnificently THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH.  Am absolutely chuffed to bits to have had such incredible support once again - I am thrilled and I know that the Playground is too.

This year - a new T-shirt!  Next year, am going for the running shorts!

With best wishes and many thanks, indeed, for your generosity.

Sid

Sid Downe, here, and, after my rather impressive success last year (I'm good, I'm modest, and I admit it!) I'M BACK!!!!

Having been challenged last year by my brother, Stan Dupp, I amazed even myself by raising a SUPERB £1265.  The only downside - I have set the bar rather high, but I know, with your help, I can do it again, and have now embarrassed Stan into taking part as well.

As you know, the Playground relies heavily on the support of the local community, and, were you able to contribute it would be fantastic. Most recent figures show that 13,614 visits were made and their costs were around £320,000.  With as little as 5% of what they needed each year coming through local authority grants, they really, REALLY would welcome your support.

For more information on the Playground, you can visit their website, www.tvap.co.uk.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your money will go directly to the Playground, with Gift Aid reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, so it’s an efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If you could help, it would be wonderful - we would love to beat last year's target, and, if you now feel inspired to take part, you can follow this link to set up your own fundraising page for the event.

With best wishes,

Sid & Stan
