Story
The time has come again (a bit too quickly if you ask me) to take on the 21 bridges of London for the Jimmy Mizen Foundation. There was an overwhelming amount of support given last year smashing our target amount by double! This year we are asking you to dig deep and go again for a remarkable cause.
There were some great memories made last year that has pulled a group of men and women from Sidcup RFC back to take on the great walk again. Who can forget Sam Carmen’s Outstanding effort to get an overall 7th finish on the walk?
Or even Keith Forward completing the 21 bridges triathlon, a gruelling test of endurance completing the course in three stages; WALK, BLACK CAB, CARRIED.
I myself decided to sacrifice a record course finishing time instead to stay behind and encourage the next group of walkers (nothing to do with my physical state).
In all seriousness it’s an absolutely fantastic day in aid of brilliant foundation that have achieved so much. If you can’t get down yourself to do the walk then every donation is appreciated no matter how much.
