Some of you will already know, but about 8 years ago my grandad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Before this point I didn’t really know much about the disease other than the forgetfulness.  But this disease is so much more than that. It completely changes their personality, how they think and act. I still see my grandad as the person who took me on bikes rides and who could fix anything, but some days I’m the not the same grandchild he taxied everywhere when I was too young to drive. Knowing someone with Alzheimer’s is like watching them die in slow motion so I want to raise money and awareness so that one day people won’t have to go through this. So please help a gal out, give what you can. It means more than you know.
