Story
* We are 93% of the way there - thank you for your continued support *
We are raising money to publish a cookbook in collaboration with our partner KEDA. Founded in 1992, the Kilimanjaro Environmental Development Association (KEDA) works to help local communities tackle environmental issues, combating poverty at its roots. You can visit our blog for more information about KEDA's work and the cookbook: https://sidshare.home.blog/blog-posts/
The cookbook will contain recipes from SIDshare and KEDA's joint Field Centre in Tanzania (http://fieldcentre.org.uk), all given to us by Rufina, the centre's head chef. The book is intended to be published in Summer 2020 and will be available to buy in several bookshops around Sheffield, as well as from the Field Centre in Tanzania. All money raised from the cookbook's sales will go to KEDA, funding their work to support local livelihoods in the Kilimanjaro region which is extremely vital in the face of COVID19.
