Siemens York team conquer the Three Peaks!
Fundraising for Little Badgers
Story
Just a few hundred metres from our design office, Little Badgers pre-school are a keystone in our local community. They are hosted by Badger Hill School, however they will soon become homeless as government rules mean the school must be rebuilt with fewer classrooms.
Little Badgers have a plan to build their own classroom, and businesses across York are rallying to help make it a reality over the summer.
The Siemens Rail Electrification team have a record of taking on challenges, but have never attempted the 24 mountainous miles of the Yorkshire Three Peaks! So on 22 June 2019 a team from the York office will be taking on and conquering the peaks, and hopefully helping the pupils of Little Badgers have a home to return to after the summer holidays in the process.
