Story
On Friday 9th February, Warwick PPE Society is hosting Countdown in order to raise money for 2 amazing charities (only 1 is listed here, but total proceedings raised on the night will be split equally between Mind and Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre).
In addition to raising money for charity, you can do us all a favour and bid for Daniel TakTak's silence. We know that not all of you can be at the event (there is one wannabe bidder in New York apparently...), so this page will allow you to do what you have always wanted to.
Every £3 raised equates to 15 mins of his silence- get bidding, get silencing and helping us all out.
Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre was formed in 2000 to support vulnerable refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants within the city. We help these people rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential, supporting their integration into the city’s local communities and encouraging them to contribute fully to the life of Coventry; all while in safety and with dignity. To achieve this, we offer a range of free and impartial advice which includes therapy, English lessons, housing support, employment and legal advice.
