Story

Thank you for visiting my page.

I’m not just doing it because I’m a glutton for punishment, but my initial thought was that it would be a good challenge which would make me start going to the gym as I hadn't been for a while. Some may say I may have been aiming a bit high, but so far at least I've made it to the gym on several occasions. I have to say it is rewarding to be able to raise money for Shika and the work Shika does in Tanzania in attempting this climb as that will hopefully add some determination in trying to succeed. I keep saying attempting to climb as apart from the physical challenge (which hopefully I will be prepared for), the temperature can reach down to -30 degree Celsius and whilst being Norwegian should prepare me for that, it won’t be pleasant. I still think though that the biggest challenge of all is camping. I don't really do camping, and the thought of 7 nights in a tent is not filling me with joy, but with your support I’m sure I’ll make it.
