The Silk Road Pirates are set for adventure.
The deadliest desert in the world awaits.

I would like to take this opportunity to present to you the Silk Road Pirate Expedition and see if you would be interested in a potential sponsorship and partnership.

The expedition is the first of its kind and aims to explore and document the far reaches of the Taklamakan Desert in the far north west of China. The word "Taklamakan" loosely translates to "those that enter don't return." The desert is actually a cold desert and has at times been completely covered in snow.

The team of four will be attempting to cross the entire desert by primitive and unsupported means.

That means we'll be walking over 400km with no water stops and just our small tribe of camels.

Nothing like this has been attempted in recent history and it is sure to be a feat of endurance, exploration, mateship and adventure.
