Our very own Sam Baronowski has volunteered to take part in the upcoming Middlesbrough 10K event on Sunday 3rd September as part of our annual commitment to raise money for Farplace Animal Rescue. 

Here is a little about Farplace and we we are keen to provide support this year! 

"At our rescue centre, Farplace Animal Rescues provides a loving home to up to 300 animals.  Some need a new home and we find them their forever family.  A few are resident due to ongoing health or behavioral issues.  And wildlife we release after rehabilitation and recovery.
As well as this, we create valuable habitat for wildlife at our centre and an educational wildlife experience for visitors, including ponds, woodland and a viewing hide.

Our vet bill is usually between £3000 and £7000 per month, with feed and care costs on top of this.  That is why we need your help.

Help for animals like Flummi.  We mostly help animals from the UK, but we were asked to help Flummi, a cat from Bosnia found frozen in the snow with no perceivable life signs and a seriously damaged eye.  He is also FIV+.

His eye was too badly damaged to be saved but, after extensive work from our vets, he is now safe and well and after a time at Farplace, he now has found his forever home."
