Halton Haven Hospice provides specialist palliative care to individuals across Widnes, Runcorn and surrounding areas, as well as support for their families. The Hospice aims to relieve the sickness, suffering and distress caused by cancer and other end of life conditions.

The Silverstone 24 is a brand new, exciting and challenging annual event. Using the prestigious Grand Prix Circuit and facilities at the iconic Silverstone site, this event offers a fantastic challenge for cyclists of all abilities.

The Challenge

As a team (in a relay style), we cycle through day and night to complete 24 hours on the prestigious Grand Prix circuit. We will be timed all the way.

As a team we have nominated 1 charity to raise funds for.

Halton Haven Hospice cares for people over eighteen years of age with life-limiting illnesses living in Halton (Merseyside) and surrounding areas. They provide support to patients and their families according to their individual needs. As a Charity, they do not charge for any of their services.

One of the team has ongoing firsthand experience dealing with HHH and proposed we raise funds as they do a fantastic job. The 3 of us decided that as there is firsthand experience we would support as well.
