London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024 ·

EHERCC supports EHE rare cancer patients, raises funds for critical research, and promotes EHE awareness. We help those with EHE while funding research to understand and ultimately defeat EHE, because people with rare cancers should not feel forgotten. We are determined to ensure they are not.

Story

I'll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on the 7th of April 2024 to raise money for EHE Rare Cancer Charity and in support of Paul.

EHE is a rare cancer that grows from the cells that make up the blood vessels, and it is estimated that 1 in a million people are currently living with EHE worldwide. Little is known about this cancer, which in its aggressive form, is highly destructive.

Paul was diagnosed with EHE at just 27 years old. Since his diagnosis, he has completely changed his lifestyle and has been keeping healthy and as active as possible, mostly by running. He has completed multiple half marathons, and last year he ran London Landmark's Half in 1 hour and 21 minutes! An absolute inspiration!🙌

Last year I was invited to join the EHE Team to run the London Landmark's Half Marathon. I ran my first-ever half in 2 hours and 8 minutes. Since then I have fallen in love with running, and this is all thanks to Paul.

This year, I am once again committed to raising money for this incredibly important charity and have set myself a goal to complete the half marathon in under 2 hours. This is something that last year, I didn't think was possible, but Paul has proven that you can acomplish amazing things when you set your mind to it. 💪

I would be so grateful if you could support the EHE Team by donating to my page so we can find out more about this horrid cancer, and hopefully, one day, find a cure.
