Story

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

On 28 October 2017 I will be taking on the daunting Steel City Abseil down the Owen building in the city centre, opposite the train station. To return to ground level I'll have to abseil a terrifying 120 feet (37 metres).

I’m raising money to support the work of the British Red Cross. They
respond to crises and disasters in the UK and overseas, including:
prolonged hospitalisation, sudden immobility (they loan wheelchairs),
house fires, extreme weather, floods, earthquakes, typhoons, tsunamis,
famine and war.

In the last 12 months they have been responding to: the war in Syria, the European refugee crisis, the conflict in Yemen, and close to home they have been supporting vulnerable people at home on a day to day basis - see www.redcross.org.uk.

It's a big challenge and a fantastic cause, so please sponsor me!

Thank you so much!

Simon
