Story
As many of you know I've had several brain tumours over the last few years. They have caused life changing physical issues which mean i take a daily cocktail of tablets and injections.
Not only did my physical health suffer, but I also suffered from anxiety and depression. I try and maintain mental positivity by getting out as much as possible and enjoying life with my girls. Many days I'm off my feet and not able to get out. If you're still reading I'd like to raise some money to help an organisation close to my heart. Derby County Comminuity Trusts Team Talk. Team Talk is a mens mental health group run by Luke Wilkinson to encourage men to discuss their issues and fight the stigma of mens mental health. It's a safe space to talk, relax and talk in a non judgemental environment. I found it a way of communicating and making friends in a relaxed and caring atmosphere.
There are almost 6,000 Male suicides in England and Wales annually, and my family witnessed the pain of this first hand. I will walk 6,000 steps with my dog Gus each day throughout April. Sounds easy but many days I'm housebound, plus recovering from gall bladder surgery so it's my own challenge. Please if you can spare a donation in these tough times I'd extremely grateful x
