We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

I will be taking part in a 12 week program which includes one session per week which is a mix of football and fitness. We have all been given a simple eating guide to follow and the aim is to lose weight within the 12 weeks and get fitter in the process to take on a team of ex-pros on Sunday the 18th August 2019 at Alvechurch football ground.

The person who has lost the largest percentage of their body weight at the end will be the captain and the one that has lost the least will be the other teams mascot.

We are raising money for the Calm zone which is a charity that raises awareness of the number one killer of men aged 20-49 which is suicide. This purpose of the event is to raise money and spread awareness.
