We care for seriously ill children to help them 'Make every day count'

Story

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So why have I chosen to support Little Havens Children's Hospice?

Little Havens focus on the individual needs of the children they care for 'Making every day count' with those with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses and their families.

They can care for children and young people up to the age of 19, from Essex and the surrounding London Boroughs.  At Little Havens, they look after the whole family which may include emotional or educational support for the child's siblings, parents, grandparents and carers or assistance with social issues.

So what does my challenge involve?

On Thursday 26th September 2019 the challenge starts at Little Havens Hospice in Benfleet with a 55 mile ride to Harwich, on Friday we cycle from Hoek of Holland to Breda covering a further 60 miles, and then on the Saturday we cycle the 92 miles from Breda to Bruges.

This is going to be a physically challenging adventure for me stretching over three days, so my training has begun in earnest so that I'm ready to succeed in this challenge.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to Little Havens Hospice.  So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your valued support.
