Simon's Italian Lakes Cycle Challenge page

Italian Lakes Cycle Challenge · 22 September 2022
I know, here we go again. You probably won't believe it, but it is 5 years since I cycled to Paris (I know, I never mention it).
Now that things are opening up again, I've decided to take on a new challenge in aid of Macmillan cycling across Italy from Venice to Milan.
I know what you are thinking - Italian Lakes - this sounds like a doddle! However this involves around 90 miles a day for the first three days and on the final day a mere 65 miles - but this involves a 10 mile climb up the Madonna del Ghisallo - famous from the Giro d'Italia and Lombardia.
Cambridgeshire is a poor place to train, so as you may have seen I rode 100 miles in the recent RideLondon event and will be taking part in the Tour of Cambridgeshire in an effort to get fit.
If you can support Macmillan that would be amazing.
Ciao!
Simon
