My wife Cazz has battled eating disorders from when we first met as teenagers up until now, they’re not going to go away unless she’s given the proper treatment. Eating Disorder services are terrible on the NHS, you have to be very ill to receive any help and as soon as you’ve gained your target weight you’re discharged, they never address the causes. There are also huge waiting lists for any support. Beat is one of the few charities there to support people which is why I’m raising money for them, so that people who don’t have the opportunities we have to access support and help can be supported by them.
