We are the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease. We fund essential research and provide much needed support, information and advice. We raise awareness and challenge the misconceptions of lung cancer. We do all this so those affected can expect better.

Hi, I'm Simon, Jo's husband and I am going to be doing this skydive with Laura Graver who Jo and myself have always thought off as a daughter.

On May 21st of last year Jo was diagnosed with lung cancer and after follow up appointments was told it was terminal. This was obviously a massive shock to Jo, myself and our two boys Ben and Liam.

Jo stayed strong and brave throughout her treatment always insisting that we carried on as a family and thought positively about her outcome. Jo never smoked and this just shows what a cruel and evil illness lung cancer is.

On 23rd September last year (my birthday) Adam, a work colleague also done a skydive in aid of Jo.

Jo managed to make it to see Adam jump but unfortunately she went down hill after that which was very sudden. Jo died less than two weeks later on the 4th October.

We had alot of help from various organisations but the Roy Castle Lung Foundation really does seem to be the one closest to my heart to support.

Please, please support Myself and Laura in this very worth while cause.
