Virgin London Marathon 2015 · 26 April 2015 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have always had a huge aspiration to run the London Marathon since I first saw the big race on TV as a child.

I have secured a place running the Marathon for the NSPCC, a charity who my late and much missed grandmother Rose, did lots of work for during her retirement before she sadly passed away. Nan was the local rep for the NSPCC in Theydon bois. On some occasions, I helped with her collections after school.

All money raised will go towards the NSPCC and their work with Childline, a private and confidential service for children and young people to talk about problems and report abuse. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to the NSPCC.

On Sunday 26th April 2015, I will be setting off for the 26.2 miles! So please, dig deep and I hope to see you there cheering me on the side lines!

Thank you all so much for your generosity.

Simon
