On Sat 10th May, Simon, Miles & Ed each ran 20 miles and tackled 200 obstacles in 4 hrs 28 mins to raise money for research into an extremely rare condition called Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM). Our target was to raise £10 for each mile and each obstacle.

JDM is very rare (affecting less than 3 in a million children), meaning it is incredibly hard to diagnose; doctors still don’t even know what causes it.

Undiagnosed and untreated, the patient’s muscles deteriorate with potentially devastating impact on the vital organs (such as heart and lungs).
