Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a Diver, Yachtsman and Safety Boat Driver for many years I know how unpredictable and unforgiving the sea can be, both on it and on the coast, and the RNLI is often all that stand between us, our loved one's and family, and disaster.

The RNLI put themselves on the line time and time again, and although I have never needed their services, just knowing they are there should I do so, is such a comfort.

There is an impressive museum to them at Chatham Docks, which some of you may have visted, if you haven't it's well worth a visit, and who cannot be inspired by the selfless acts of Grace Darling and her father, the founders and guiding spirit of the RNLI.

Over the years I have "used" their inspired slogan "train one - save many" with my health and safety hat on, so I hope we can help a little, so that they can continue to do so.

So let's show them we care, and that we are thinking of them too by putting  a few quid in the tin, so they can continue their vital work.
