Wild Thing obstacle race has been hailed as our toughest challenge in the race calendar! Voted ‘Men’s Fitness Adventure Race of the Year it is infamous for challenging even the bravest of adventure runners.

Wild Thing eXtreme obstacle race is a 5k or 10k trail run, include the Swamp of Doom, Water Slides, Tightropes, Tunnels, Quick Sand, Giant Walls, Cargo Nets, Mud, Water and The Assault Course. Wild Thing is located at Wild Park in Brailsford, an amazing location, set in a picturesque valley on the outskirts of the Peak District National Park. The area has undulating fields, wooded areas and plenty of water and mud to wade through. The location is perfect for a 5k or 10k adventure race of this type.

The ultimate obstacle course race and mud run!

The XRunner Wild Thing obstacle race is not for the faint of heart, the natural terrain is an obstacle in itself and just to be even more cruel to our contenders we take the course through every inch of muddy bog we can find in the wild woods and undergrowth. The tunnels of terror are filled with water, the tightropes get slippery after thousands of muddy hands and feet have slid across them, so please do not apply if you like your whites whiter than white because this Wild Thing will beat not only your stamina but your running gear into total submission, but it’s muddy good fun!
