Riding a 125cc bike to all mainland cenetaphs · 7 August 2021

The Royal Signals Charity supports Regular, Retired and Reserve Signallers. We do this by providing benevolence grants to those facing distress or hardship. We support our community through grants that look to encourage comradery, corps history and education of our trades.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

10 members of the Royal Signals Bikers were supposed to be doing a charity ride from the Cenotaph in London to the Cenotaph in Gibraltar
1500+ miles in 5 days
Now here is the catch
We were doing it in 125cc machines (mostly Honda CG125's) and in August when the weather is hot
However with all the uncertainty regarding travel, isolating, paying for tests etc we have decided to postpone the Gibraltar  run for another time
As we have all bought bikes and got them ready and booked time off etc we are still going ahead with a challenging ride but UK based
We are going to visit the 3 capital city cenotaphs
2,000+ miles in 7 days
Starting/finishing at the NMA in Stafford
Calling in to as many Signals camps as possible
Hopefully using them as overnight stops either transit or camping.
Dates are to be 7th - 14th Aug

If anyone knows about bikes that is a lot of miles on a learner bike capable of 40-50mph. Please dig deep
