Story
Yes, I've gone a bit crazy: I've decided to take on the life of a pilgrim for 5 weeks and walk circa 500 miles from St Jean in France, across the Pyrenees and then onto Santiago de Compostela in North West Spain.
I'm also doing this on my own, without support & carrying my own rucksack. And remember, I only have little legs!
It's not your usual mid life crisis, I grant you. No fast car purchase going on here, quite the opposite in fact.
Why? In order to thank Look Sussex, a charity that has massively supported my visually impaired niece and her family. They do some great work changing the lives of blind and VI kids in Sussex and any donation from you, no matter how big or small will make a difference. They are a small charity, and every bit helps, so if you can also help me to hit my target of £2000 that will make a significant difference to so many kids.
So thank you in advance for your generosity. I'll be monitoring this page every day during the walk so your donation will give me extra strength and spur me on during what will inevitably be some tough, long hot days on my feet.
Thank you so much.
Simon
