Thank you to Holmfirth Rotary Club and it's members who donated £120 on Wednesday.

Thank you to all who attended the curry night, it was a great success.  We raised £607.50.

We have organised a fund raising curry night at Cinnamon Lodge, Meltham, Huddersfield.  This will be at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday 3 March.  Tickets are £12 each.  If you would like to come along, please contact either Dudley or myself...... Simon

Simon's upcoming events:The only part of the route I cannot ride is the distance across the English Channel & back.  So, I am going to row the equivelant distance on a rowing machine in the gym.  That's 42 miles (68km)!! 

We are planning to ride our motorcycles to Moscow & back between 1st June & 15 June 2011 on behalf of the 'Love Russia' Charity (1092154).  We will be helping to raise a total of £60,000 to support eighty orphanage leavers for one year from September 2011 through the charity 'Genesis Student Support Program'. These young people have already had a very tough life in orphanages and desperately need our support to help them through further education. We are looking to raise £8000 in sponsorship.  To achieve this we would like to encourage 400 people to donate £20 (1p a mile) each.  Of course, any donation would be most welcome as it will help us reach our target.  If you want to know more, please visit www.loverussia.org/rideforrussia
