Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

MS-UK is here to support anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), which affects over 150,000 people in the UK. We empower people with MS to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of the condition and providing support where it is needed most.

Story

Unfortunately last year a foot injury ruled me out from running the London marathon but this year training has gone well and I hope to make it to the start line on Sunday 17th April for my first (and last) 26 mile run for an attempt to run in sub 4 hours.

As per last year I am running for the wonderful charity Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (MSRC). It is a cause close to my heart as my grandmother died from the disease before I had the chance to meet her and I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for the sterling work the charity does with people that suffer from this horrible disease.
