The Pied Piper Appeal raises money to make a difference to sick and disabled children in Gloucestershire by funding the Children's Centre at GRH, supporting SEND schools, sending children and their families on Wish Holidays and improving experiences with mental health facilities.

Story

Celebrating my 50th year with a bucket list tour from end to end! Goaded by 2 of my best mates "if not now, then when?", so off we go!

It would be wrong to undertake a challenge of this magnitude without trying to raise a few quid for the sick & disabled children of Gloucestershire and the Pied Piper Appeal is a charity very close to my heart.

Please give what you can, every little bit really does make a difference.

The Pied Piper Appeal was founded in 1992 by local hairdresser Peter Hickman and £4 million was pledged to build a new Children's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. The money was quickly raised with the centre opening in 2004. Since then, The Pied Piper Appeal have continued to fund the Children's Centre along with supporting SEND Schools with equipment and resources, Sending children with life-limiting illnesses and their families on memory making Wish Holidays, and improving children's experience with Mental Health facilities.
