Story

Hi all and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On June 10th in the very early hours of Sunday morning, I will be taking part in the Nightrider 2012 charity event and cycling my sorry backside 100km around London to raise money for a very worthy charity, Bowel Cancer UK.

Bowel Cancer is, if treated early, one of the most curable types of cancer with over 90% survival rates.  However early diagnosis of bowel cancer is a problem because people either find it uncomfortable to discuss the symptoms of the disease or simply do not know what they are.

This is why Bowel Cancer UK's work - to encourage people to recognise the symptoms of the disease and to act on their concerns so that they have the best chance of survival - is so important.
