Velindre's Aphrodite Appeal supports gynaecological cancer research and care.  Over 1000 women are diagnosed with gynaecological cancers each year in Wales.  Despite advances in recent years with more women surviving longer, gynaecological cancers remain a significant health problem.  Donating to this cause will help research and service developments at Velindre Hospital to support women through their cancer journey. This year will be my 4th attempt at the Cardiff Half Marathon.  I'll be carrying more electronics on my wrist than was used in the Apollo moonshots, and am hoping for a personal best close to 2 hours.
